These policies are in place to help me deliver exceptional service to ALL of my clients every visit.
Please read through them.
Phone/Office hours: – I am available by phone Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:00pm. You can reach me by text, call, or email. My number is 763-280-3061, and my email is sweethomecleaningllc.2022@gmail.com. If you call and I do not answer, please leave a message and I will call you back as soon as possible.
Holidays: I observe New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. When December 24th and 31st fall on a weekday (M-F), I will close at 12:00pm.
Cancelations: Service reliability is extremely important. I will turn down business to not disrupt your regularly scheduled cleaning. Please show the same respect. Failure to provide adequate notice could result in a $40 late cancellation fee. I understand that circumstances arise that require a cancellation, but if a client has excessive cancellations, I reserve the right to cancel all future cleanings.
*I request that you give me a minimum of 24 hours advance notice (Monday clients must call before noon on the previous Friday), IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT FOR ANY REASON. Our business number, 763-280-3061, is available to you at all times.
Access to your home: I will make every effort to arrive at your house in a timely manner. Because of possible cancellations or prior cleans running longer than expected, I cannot guarantee a specific time. I require timely access to your home to perform my job. I believe the best way to serve you is for you to issue me a house key. Your key is coded with a number, it is never associated with your street address, and is kept in a locked secure key box. Circumstances beyond my control such as traffic, weather, or illness may affect my arrival time. Your flexibility and understanding in these situations are greatly appreciated. I will always do my best to keep you informed of any delays I may be experiencing.
Lock Outs: If I arrive at your home and you forgot to leave the door open, leave a key or I need to leave without cleaning for any reason, you could be charged 50% of your regular cleaning cost. This fee is necessary to cover the cost associated with the unexpected inability to complete the job. Most of our customers do entrust me with a key to their home, a responsibility I take very seriously.
Inclement Weather: In event of a Tornado and other poor weather conditions I may need to skip your clean in order to keep myself safe. I will do my best to reschedule to the earliest available appointment.
Making payments: All payments must be made the day of or before your scheduled cleaning. I accept Cash, or Checks. Please note that any returned checks will result in a $30 service charge.
Syringes: Should any member of your household require the use of syringes, please ensure that they are disposed of safely. Any secure container like a coffee can, can be used to store used syringes and/or needles prior to final disposal. Any unexpected stab by an insecure needle can pose serious health concerns to myself.
Hygiene Products: Please dispose of bodily fluid hygiene products appropriately. Please wrap up in paper/tissues and toss it in a lined canister for easy disposal. I wear gloves to protect myself, but I will not be picking up any that may be lying on the floor. (It’s happened!)
Insects: Insect infestation can be a problem and may prevent us from cleaning your home. If an infestation of ants, termites, roaches, fleas, bed bugs, etc. is encountered, we will not clean until the problem has been rectified. Please do not expect us to clean up dead insects that you’ve sprayed (i.e. ants, etc.). We will leave you a note or call you regarding the problem.
Pets: We love pets and will be very careful around your fur babies. Your pets are members of your family and we respect that. However, if your pet is afraid of vacuums, territorial, or overly friendly, and will not allow us to do our work, or may be a threat, we do ask that they be placed in areas that we are not working in. Also, for sanitary purposes, we do not clean litter boxes, feces, or urine.
Sensitive Information: To protect our cleaners and your privacy, please be sure that any confidential or potentially illegal documents or substances are put away before your scheduled cleaning.
Fire Arms: For my protection and yours, if you have firearms, I ask that they are stored and locked away prior to me cleaning your home. Please do not leave firearms under pillows or mattresses as they pose a danger when I am making or changing linens on beds. I will not touch or move any firearms.
Height Limitations: Due to insurance policies, we are not permitted to step higher than our 2-step stool or lift heavy objects or furniture.
Damage or Breakage: I make every effort to take the greatest care while in your home, but I understand accidents happen. Identical replacement is always attempted but cannot be guaranteed. I request that all valuable, irreplaceable, collectible, or heirloom items (whether monetarily or sentimentally valued) be stored and/or not cleaned by myself. Damaged or broken items must be reported to Sweet Home Cleaning within 48 hours of service. All surfaces (e.g., marble, granite, etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to be cleaned without causing harm.

Your satisfaction is my #1 Priority; therefore, any necessary adjustments must be reported to me within 24 hours of the cleaning date for resolution.
